my journey.
hi there! i’m Mackenzie!
I have loved theatre for as long as I can remember! When I was 3 years old, I would run around the house singing the opening number to Beauty and the Beast, forcing my family to play the townspeople; little did I know that 12 years later I would get to play Belle on stage. And at age 4, I was singing “Madame Guillotine” from The Scarlet Pimpernel, which I truly believe was one of the things that led to my obsession with true-crime tv, movies, and podcasts.
I love performing because it is a way to express all of me, without feeling the need to hide or shrink myself to fit someone else’s idea of who I should be. Each character I have had the privilege of performing is a piece of myself, and I only hope my audiences can feel themselves represented as well.
I graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Rider University, but I am always continuing to learn in this industry wherever and whenever I can.
When I am not on stage, you can find me creating content, reading a mystery novel, or being my own lash tech.
My fiancé and I recently moved to Stamford, CT. Shortly after this, the Cat Distribution System finally found us and gave us our little orange baby, Felix!
(I was BORN to be a cat mom, so this was a pivotal moment for me!)
